A hurricane hit Hong Kong two nights ago. They rate typhoons 1,3,8,9, or 10. Makes complete sense huh? This one turned out to be a 9.

so what's a typhoon like? if it was a nine, were there strong winds or lots of rain?
ReplyDeleteI love the drama of storms and how we get to put ordinary life on hold when unexpected events occur like that. I hate to say it, but I enjoyed hurricane Ike. We got to know our neighbors, we stayed home from work, we ate with friends and everyone helped each other where we could. The only part I did not like was the cost of fixing broken windows and the clean up.
Anyway, glad you're safe. Come home already!
